✍️: What's your role in DressArtMystery?
👩: First of all, I communicate with clients. I am also engaged in textile and other materials searching, working process organization, costume packing, and a lot of other routine boring work which you usually don't think when sewing is just a hobby. I also organize photoshoots, work over new costumes creation, and do embroideries.

✍️: What is your tailoring experience?
👩: I began tailoring more than 12 years ago. In DressArtMystery I'm since its origin.

✍️: What do you love the most about your job?
👩: I love the opportunity to express concepts and thoughts in costumes. I like to select materials for orders, look for unusual laces & beads and see how customers are happy with their outfits.

✍️: What are you dreaming of and striving for?
👩: I wish to expand the range of embroidered costumes in stock and as the result - create a small embroidery workshop in our atelier. In the future, I would like to sew and embroider costumes for historical and fantasy films. At present moment I work on a few historical embroidered pieces

✍️: Tell me some interesting facts about you?
👩: - I love delicious food. А huge cup of latte with a cake is my island of escapism from the world for a short time.
- I like dancing. At present moment I mostly attend the jazz dances club, but I enjoy visiting dance and historical events either.
- I adore birds. For the last 15 years, I have had parrots. Because of my hair color, my friends often jokingly call me a flamingo.
- My other passion is travelling and antique collecting. Before the pandemic, I've been combining it with flea markets touring, where I look for various antique artefacts. It all started with antique lace and beads, then moved on to vintage jewelry and accessories. For example, the oldest chatelaine I have is approximately dated to the mid-end of the 18th century:)

👩: I sew all pieces of your future dresses together add tiny lace details, huge panniers and never-ending ruffles. I make a lot of handmade embroideries, bead-work and hand-sewing, that makes your garment look so unique. Sometimes I also dye the laces to make them perfect for your costume.

👩: Someday I'll own my private house with a large plot of land where I'll be able to keep as many animals as I want. 👩: - I'm talking to your costumes. Oh yes, I tell them how incredibly beautiful they are, and how much pleasure they'll bring to their owners.
- I love plants. Sometimes I treat them like a person - each of my orchids has it's own name.
- I adore animals. Octopuses are amazing creatures so are spiders.
- Sometimes I come home from work, where I sew 8 hours a day, and ... I sew for myself! Seriously, I love it very much. Also, I love to knit and crochet. I guess, I just can't keep my hands calm.

DressArtMystery team gladly accepts the custom orders and is a real pro in it.
We put a lot of attention to all details and processes, so you will get exactly what you want and even more. Luxury fabrics, handmade embroidery and embellishments, proper patterns made according to your measurements - all of this about your future dress.
=SO, HOW IT WORKS?=
First, we would ask you to answer a few questions:
1. What would you like? Please send us your ideas or some references, so that we can understand as many details of the future work as possible.
2. Would you like it to be an exclusive and one-of-a-kind order or you wouldn’t mind us making copies in the future? This will influence the price, usually exclusive orders are about twice more expensive.
3. What materials would you prefer? Do you like natural fabrics only or artificial ones are OK as well?
4. Do you have any specific date you need the order? We need to understand the time terms for production and delivery.
Based on this information, our team will discuss the order and calculate the approximate cost. Maybe, we will have to ask a few additional questions about the details.
=PRICING AND PAYMENTS=
Please mind that $1000 is the start price for custom orders and we have to know more details about your dress or costume to calculate it precisely.
The final cost is known after finishing the work, it may vary slightly from the approximate one because it’s pretty difficult to calculate everything in advance if we never worked on this dress before.
If your budget is strictly limited, we offer options on how we can fulfill your dress without going beyond the declared cost.
Sometimes we make custom orders based on our standard collection and we know how much time it takes to produce it. In this case, we will calculate the final price right after the discussion of details.
Also, we accept partial payments. Usually, we divide the full sum for 3-4 every month payments. We create the first part of the payment and start the production.
=PRODUCTION=
After the first payment, we send you a measurement list. We check it, and if everything is okay, we start the production, but if we have doubts we may ask you to remeasure a few points.
Also, we start fabric searching and of course, we show you photos in progress. After fabrics are approved and purchased we start tailoring. Usually, we make the dress ready near or slightly before/after the last payment is done.
During all the process we send you the pictures of your dress per request, and the final result for approval.
=PROCESSING TIME=
Usually, the processing time takes 8-10 weeks.
=SHIPPING=
We send custom orders via Express shipping only. We calculate the price based on the approximate weight and size of your dress and the destination.
The shipping price in this listing is average and may vary from the final one.
=RETURNS AND CANCELLATION=
Please mind, that we don’t accept returns of custom orders. But if you have any issue please don’t hesitate to write us, and we will definitely solve the problem.
We accept cancellations. We will make a refund minus PayPal and taxes fees. If we’d already purchased fabrics for you before you canceled the order we will minus the fabrics cost too.
